Where do you get your live train data?
From the same official systems that power the boards at stations: National Rail for trains, and TfL for the Tube, DLR, Overground, Elizabeth line and trams. If it says delayed there, it says delayed here.
What's the difference between My Commute and the Live Board?
The Live Board shows every train at any station, for browsing. My Commute is your route, your days and your alert window, watched for you. Pro adds push alerts when something changes.
Does it work outside London?
Yes. Every National Rail station and operator. Manchester to Leeds works as well as Brighton to Victoria.
How does the Journey Planner work?
It finds direct services and journeys with up to two changes, up to 90 days ahead. For very complex routes, we link to National Rail's own planner.
Why does upgrading to Pro ask me to sign in?
It ties Pro to your account rather than your phone, so it follows you if you reinstall or get a new device.
Can I buy tickets through Platform 1?
No. We're not a ticket retailer, and never will be. Platform 1 is a pure utility for getting to the right platform on time.
